Convert a junk TV into a 2000ºF solar cooker. Here’s a technique for hacking a 4 foot mega magnifying lens out of your old TV, and some of the things you can do with it!

  2. I think I know how you can quickly melt aluminum/brass with sunlight
    Using the scorcher you made from a tv frame to focus the sunlight, put another lens underneath in order to focus the sunlight more intensively.
    Similar to a telescope or microscope you'll be able to focus the sun to a point you may ever be able to use the sunlight to smelt higher quantities than those small biscuits

  3. I had one of these tv's, but then my family gave it away, which sucks, because we could've used the lens to melt the snow around the winter time.
